Where to Buy Wallpaper in San Antonio (The Only Showroom Open to the Public)

I have driven past this place more times than I can count and had no idea it was there.
Tucked into an office building right off Sonterra Boulevard is Interior Affairs, and it is the only wallpaper showroom in San Antonio open to the public. No designer required. No appointment. You can just walk in.
I spent an afternoon there with the owner, Nicole Pulley, and she pulled book after book off the shelf. They carry over 500 wallcovering books from Schumacher, Thibaut, Arte, Morris and Co, Vahallan and York, plus fabrics. The whole point is that you get to put your hands on the paper before you commit to it. Anybody who has ordered off a phone screen and had it show up looking nothing like the photo knows exactly why that matters.
Nicole has been at this since 2006. She built Interior Affairs while working full time and raising two kids, went back and finished her degree at UIW, and graduated cum laude. She opened the wallpaper showroom in 2021. That is the kind of business I want to send my clients to.
WALLPAPER IS NOT WHAT YOU REMEMBER
If your mental image of wallpaper is a border of ducks in a kitchen from 1994, you are due for an update. The stuff coming out now is textured, layered, and built to be the whole reason you walk into a room.
Nicole walked me through where people are actually putting it in 2026. Powder baths, dining rooms, the back of a bookcase, and ceilings. The ceiling is the one catching everybody off guard right now. Designers have started calling it the fifth wall and it is showing up in high end homes all over the Hill Country.
They also carry LED wallpaper, which I did not know existed. The lights are built directly into the paper so it hangs like anything else and just needs an outlet. It runs for 50,000 hours. If you have a theater room, go look at it.
DOES WALLPAPER HURT YOUR HOME VALUE
I get asked this constantly, so let me give you the straight answer.
What I will say generally is this. Wallpaper is not the resale risk people think it is, but placement matters more than pattern. A powder bath or a dining room is low risk because those are small, contained rooms a buyer can change in an afternoon if they hate it. Wrapping an entire open concept living area in something loud is a different conversation, and that is where I will tell a client to slow down. Quality installation matters too. Bad seams read as deferred maintenance to a buyer, and that costs you real money.
If you are nineteen years into a house and you love it, put up the wallpaper. If you are listing in six months, buzz me first and let me look at it with you.
